2nd class have been working very hard on their Reading Strategies.
So far this term we have been learning about making predictions before, during and after reading. We always remember to use our Prediction language and we never forget our hand signal to indicate that we are using the prediction strategy.
This week we read Willy the Wimp by Anthony Browne.
We looked closely at the front cover and
thought about what might happen in the story.
Before reading the story, we engaged in a
‘picture flick’ to gage our predictions.
